DeKalb finishes first in District 13-AAA Softball The DeKalb Lady Bears assured themselves of the number position in District 13AAA Softball by defeating the Pleasant Grove Lady Hawks in a game played last Friday by a score of 8-4. DeKalb now has a record of 8-1 in league play, while every other team in the district has lost three or more games. “Shana Little pitched her best game of the season for us,” said Coach Kelly Burns, “and everyone else on the team seemed to really pull it all together for the win Friday.” Mitzi Rankin and Christina McCrary both contributed a double and a single to the Lady Bears, and Deana Eubanks added two singles.
