Karson King, a Simms FFA member, won a $8,000 scholarship after placing sixth in the Fort Worth Stock Show & Rodeo’s Heifer Superintendent’s Beef Challenge. Organized by the Superintendents of the Junior Breeding Beef Heifer Show, Beef Challenge is a unique contest subjecting a participant’s knowledge of beef cattle production to a rigorous test.
