Linda Lipe, age, 66, of Avery, passed away, Tuesday, February 4, 2025, at Christus St. Michaels Hospital in Texarkana. Her parents: and a sister, Bobbie Jo Powell preceded her in death. Momma loved her family. She especially loved to spoil her grands and great grands.
Linda loved hummingbirds and enjoyed watching them at the feeders on her front porch. She enjoyed reading and putting puzzles together with Daddy on the kitchen table. Linda was employed by the Avery Independent School District for many years and a Homemaker to her family. She was a member of the First Baptist Church of Avery.
Graveside services are set for 10:30 AM, Friday, February 7, 2025, at Savannah Cemetery with Rev. Paul Burkhalter officiating. Services are under the direction of Clarksville Funeral Home.
The family will receive friends Thursday night from 6:00 PM until 8:00 PM at Clarksville Funeral Home.
Honorary Pallbearers are Frank Walker, Mike Segleski, Bobby Lipe, Charles Bobo and Thomas Hall.
Survivors include her husband, Mike Lipe of Avery. They were married February 1, 1975, in Uvalde; her son, Chancy Lipe and wife, Crystal of Broken Bow, Oklahoma; her daughters, Christy Williams and husband, John of Avery and Michelle Lipe of DeKalb; two sisters, Edna Mae Walker and husband, Frank of Ingram, Pamela Hendricks and Willie Ohlemacher, of San Angelo; grandchildren, John Michael Williams, Taylor Williams, Kennedy Storey, Wilson Morgan, Carter Morgan; Quinn Lipe, Joe Lipe and Mary Lipe; great-grandchildren, Kenlye Adams, Branch Adams, Jace Adams and Kyleigh Adams.
