The forecasted snow days in Bowie County last week turned to ice causing thousands to lose their electricity and prompting school and business closures all over Northeast Texas. Downed trees and slcik roads were the biggest issues. Thanks to the efforts of hundreds of electrical line workers, both Bowie-Cass and Swepco reported the vast majority of their customers had their power back on by Sunday.
