The boys and girls from New Boston traveled to DeKalb last week to take on the Bears in district basketball action. The DeKalb fans went home happy as the Bears and the Lady Bears came away with hard fought victories on the night. The Bears beat the Lions by a final score of 64-51 and the varsity Lady Bears edged the Lady Lions by a final score of 40-38. The annual Gunslinger Tournament starts in New Boston tomorrow, December 26, and runs through Saturday.
