Philippians 4:6-7, “Be anxious for nothing, but in everything by prayer and supplication, with Thanksgiving, which requests be known to God. And the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your heart and mind through Christ Jesus.” (NKJV)
To be a person of great destiny, we must fully understand the meaning of Philippians 4:6-7. Whatever God has destined for you, there is a process of development that God will take you through to prepare you for your destiny. God has perfect timing for every season of your life. To motivate you, He will show you the end result prophetically. But we must remember that the journey towards our destiny is just as important as the end result.
This is why the Scripture states that we should be in prayer and supplication rather than being anxious for our destiny to mature. As we see the destiny unfolding right before our eyes, we get very excited. Our excitement can sometimes cause us to become anxious to see what the full fruition of what your dream will look like. We have seen a vision of our destiny in the supernatural and as it is unfolding before us as we go through the process. We walk through different seasons and take steps of obedience as God lays them before us. We should always remain thankful during the process because the process is what makes us strong enough to handle the final destination.
This is why the peace of God is so important. When we don’t understand everything that’s going on during our destiny journey, we can rely on the peace and the faithfulness of God. When our process is over and the specific season of our destiny at hand, God wants us to be full of His spirit with our hearts and minds in the right place. He doesn’t need us to be worn out, tired or weary from the journey because and when our due season arrives. We will need to be full of energy and strength to accomplish all that God has placed in our hearts. Many people are so worn out by the end of the process that they cannot obtain the promise.
My friends, it’s our daily walk with God that gives us strength and carries us through to destiny. Stay strong, and enjoy the process because God is making you a champion for Him. If you stay on course, you will hit your mark and become all that God called you to be.
