Melissa Diane Feazell of New Boston, Texas passed away Monday, May 27, 2024 at a Dallas, Texas hospital. She was 54.

Melissa was born February 12, 1970 in Texarkana, Texas to William Feazell, Jr. and Sandra Lou Hamilton Feazell. She was a supporter of the Texarkana Animal League. Melissa was of the Christian faith.

She was preceded in death by her father.

She is survived by her mother, Sandy Feazell of New Boston, Texas; one sister and brother-in-law, Tracy and Chuck Sorsby of New Boston, Texas; niece, Bobbie Nell Ross, her husband Chris and their children, Allie, Avery, Anna Gayle Ross; niece, Taryn Bates her husband, Sean and their son Onyx; nephew, Chance Sorsby, his wife Rachel and their children, Cross and Isla; a nephew, Will Sorsby and his wife, Bobbie; and numerous other relatives and friends.

Memorial services will be 4:00 P.M. Sunday, June 2, 2024 at Bates Family Funeral Home in De Kalb, Texas with Bobbie Nell Ross officiating. Cremation carried out under the direction of Bates Family Funeral Home.
