The New Boston Masonic Lodge No. 69 presented New Boston High School graduate Sean Pike with the Mirabeau Bonaparte Lamar scholarship on June 22. Mirabeau Lamar was the second president of the Texas nation. As president, he worked to support public schools and established two universities.
