To Caitlynn Moon, coming to DeKalb, Texas, is like a tale of two cities.
“I’m from DeKalb, Ill., funny enough. I was born and raised in Northern Illinois,” Moon said. “Nine years ago, I came to Texas and never left.”
In 2021, she found her way to Bowie County while studying veterinary medicine at Texas A&M College Station where she was attending on a swim team scholarship.
