This week’s Bowie’s Best Athlete of the Week is Da’Marcis Franklin of New Boston. Da’Marcis is a 17-year-old student at New Boston High School who joined the team for his first Special Olympics this year. He participates in the 50-meter dash and the turbo javelin throw at the spring track and field events as well as plays on the fall softball team.
