Hallie Hackett- Hooks grad is learning to do, doing to learn, earning to live and living to serve

Hallie Hackett is now officially a 2023 graduate of Hooks High School and ended her years at Hooks High as the valedictorian of her class. But, it only takes a few minutes with this young lady to know that her years in high school were merely the beginning of her tale.

Hackett leaves Hooks High with more than a quarter million dollars in college scholarships including the Welch Scholarship which is up to $134,000 over the course of four years and will cover all of her housing and tuition. She plans to use that Welch Scholarship to pursue her dream of becoming a veterinarian.

Hallie plans to attend Texas A&M in College Station and study Animal Science and then stay at the university as a veterinarian. She says, “I just really love the environment and the school. Being a vet there would be a really good opportunity.”
