The Hooks Lady Hornets will play in the Regional Quarterfinals this week as they face the Lady Tigers of Mount Vernon. Game One is scheduled for Friday at 6 p.m. at Mount Pleasant High School. Game Two will be Saturday at 12 noon, also at Mount Pleasant, and Game Three, if necessary, will be played Monday at 6 p.m. Go Lady Hornets!!!
The Maud Cardinals will face off with Frankston for a best-of-three series in the Area round of baseball playoffs at Elysian Fields in Waskom, TX. The first game was scheduled for 7 p.m. on Thursday. Game Two will be Friday evening beginning at 7 PM. Game three (if necessary) will be played Saturday afternoon at 2 PM. Tickets are $5 for adults and $3 for students.
