Maud ISD looks toward bond election to make district improvements
The Maud Independent School District is asking local taxpayers to dig a little deeper into their pockets.
MISD has a proposed $6.5 million bond package that will be on the May 6 ballot. This bond package will be used to build a new cafetorium, renovate the existing cafetorium into a band hall, improve traffic control and provide additional campus parking spaces. If approved, taxpayers will see a $0.22 increase on every $1,000 of appraised property. This increase will not affect district residents...
