Clarence Douglas “Doug” Meadows of Simms, Texas passed away Tuesday, December 6, 2022 at a New Boston care facility. He was 91.

Doug was born January 21, 1931 in the Siloam Community of Simms, Texas to Clarence Rupert and Nora Atchley Meadows. He was a veteran of the United States Army, serving from 1953 – 1955 during the Korean Conflict. Doug served in the United States National Guard for four years.
