Grace Fort Gouldsby Scholarship Foundation

The Grace Fort Gouldsby Scholarship Foundation gives out two very helpful scholarships to graduating seniors. The scholarship first originated in 1989  when Grace Fort Gouldsby retired from being a school teacher for 47 years. Her children wanted to do something in remembrance of their mother retiring.

The two scholarships they offer are a $500 scholarship that will go toward your books and a $1,000 scholarship toward something you need in school. The leaders and founders of this scholarship are very active in the students’ lives  after they receive the scholarship. There are no specific requirements as to what the scholarship can be spent on.  Some kids have bought their laptop and others a calculator they need.
