James Lewis “Jim” Mebane passed away Wednesday, May 13, 2021 at his home in De Kalb, Texas.  He was 73.

Jim was born January 20, 1948 in De Kalb, Texas to James William and Margaret Sue Pope Mebane.  He was retired from the United States Postal Service.  Jim was a Veteran of the United States Army, having earned a Purple Heart in the Vietnam War.  He was a Life Member of the Vietnam Veterans of America.  Jim was an avid outdoorsman who loved to hunt and fish.  He was of the Ch...
