Bowie County Sex Offender Sentenced for Possessing Child Pornography

A Bowie County sex offender has been sentenced to federal prison for possessing child pornography in the Eastern District of Texas, announced Acting U.S. Attorney Nicholas J. Ganjei today.

William Johnson Springer, 60, of Texarkana, Texas, pleaded guilty on Oct. 5, 2020, to possessing child pornography and was sentenced to 120 months in federal prison today by U.S. District Judge Robert W.
