Seven candidates vie for three spots in upcoming New Boston city elections
Once again, New Boston city politics are heating up, as seven candidates have registered to run for three spots in city government. After 44 years of city government service, the last 24 of those as mayor, Johnny Branson will not seek re-election. Vying for his title will be Pastor Ron Humphrey, former American Legion Post #488 Commander Donald Evans, and former New Boston City Councilman Joe Dike.
