Hazel Jeanette Garrett, age 78 of New Boston, Texas passed away Wednesday, November 28, 2018 from the comfort of her home surrounded by family. Mrs. Garrett was born on June 24, 1940 to Jesse and Ruby Grider Raney of New Boston, Texas. She retired from the Bowie County Clerk’s Office in 1991, was a member of Christian Fellowship in New Boston and enjoyed sewing, crocheting and cooking.
